5th Annual Kids on Track Mini Model Railway Show

Together on the weekend of August 1 & 2, the Amherst Railway Society, CTrail, and the Springfield Redevelopment Authority bring you the 5th annual Kids ON TRACK Model Railroad Show at Union Station in Springfield, Massachusetts.

 Area model railroad clubs will have operating model railroads set up on the historic Union Station concourse. Children and enthusiasts (of all ages) will have a chance to run the model trains. Model railroads are fascinating to watch, but the real thrill is getting a chance to run your own train. That’s what Kids ON TRACK is all about!

The event is FREE to attend, and tickets for the companion train ride go on sale in July 2026.
