TRACK or TREAT

On Saturday, *October 24th, the Springfield Redevelopment Authority, Amherst Railway Society, and CTrail celebrate Spooky Season at their 4th annual Track-or-Treat event.

The party begins at 9 am, with a performance by the dancing Hampden County Hexanbruts.  Then, the Track-or-Treat train leaves Springfield at 10:00 am. During the ride, families will be entertained by the antics of Maggie the Railroad Clown. Upon arrival in Hartford, passengers will switch to a second CTrail train for the ride back to Springfield, returning around 11:38 am.

When the passengers descend from the rail platform, back into Union Station’s main concourse, they’ll be greeted by a treat trail, manned by Union Station tenants, vendors, and community volunteers, including:

• The Downtown Springfield YMCA
• Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory
• Dress for Success Western MA
• Amherst Railway Society
• Appleton Corporation
• Hampden County Juvenile Probation Dept.
• Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School
• Bachmann Trains
• Hertz Rental Car

*On Sunday, 10/25, Track-or-Treat reverses, beginning and concluding in Hartford.
